If you haven’t ever watched The Venture Bros then please for the love of all things holy rectify this enormous mistake in your life immediately. For those of you familiar with the Adult Swim animation series here are three wonderfully stacked devoted fans of the cartoon whose love of the series has manifested itself into one of the best examples of Cosplay we’ve ever seen, as they transfrom themselves into The Monarch and his wife and assistant Dr Girlfriend/Dr Mrs.
Cosplay, short for “costume play”, is a type of performance art in which participants don costumes and accessories to represent a specific character or idea. Characters are often drawn from popular fiction in Japan, but recent trends have included American cartoons and Sci-Fi. Favourite sources include manga, anime, tokusatsu, comic books, graphic novels, video games, hentai and fantasy movies.
