Russian Paraglider Collides Mid-Air With Vulture.

Remember a while back we featured the South African mountain biker who was smashed off his bike by an aggressive buck? (see HERE). Well thanks to YouTube we can continue to enjoy these close calls with nature from the comfort of our own home.

The footage above was shot by a Russian para-glider who during his first flight in the Himalyans collided with a large griffon. The bird managed to get tangled up in his rig and canopy and after a failed attempt to free the animal he was forced to deploy his emergency chute. Thankfully some brush broke his improvised landing and once anchored the para-glider managed to cut the bird free before using his radio for assistance.
