We have tons of sympathy for this guy as we have in the past experienced the sheer ignorance, stupidity and lunacy of drivers whilst out in the saddle too.
The video above, (fast forward to 2.46 for the incident itself) clearly shows the cyclist having to take evasive action when the driver cuts in front of him, the pair exchange insults before the driver veers out to the right to delibertaely hit the cyclist, knocking him to the ground. According to the information attached to the video the police are currently following this incident up with a view to prosecute.
At least the other drivers were decent enough to give the cyclist their details and assistance and we’ll never tire of hearing the word ‘arseholes’ uttered in anger and frustration, the only way Scots know how.
