Like a mash-up of Koyaanisqatsi and the video game Grand Theft Auto IV this nine minute film gives the viewer a highly intimate insight into the streets of New York city.
Filmed by cyclist Shawn Brown the footage was only supposed to take two weeks to shoot and edit together but that time frame extended itself to two and a half years. Still, it was worth the wait as this mesmerising short film beautifully captures the exhilaration of cycling through the often dangerous streets of New York overshadowed by imposing architecture.
The song used throughout this film is Death Is The Road To Awe by Clint Mansell.
