The current buzz surrounding this documentary suggests that it’s not to be missed. Directed by Bart Layton The Imposter expertly splices real-life footage with reconstructed dramatizations of key events, holding on to the viewer’s attention until the credits roll.
Without giving too much away it deals with the heartbreaking story of a 16 year-old boy who vanished from his home in Texas only to turn up in Spain three years later. But upon his arrival in the States and reunion with his family, all was not as it seemed.
