Here’s the first full official trailer for the much anticipated Steven Spielberg movie ‘Merica: Fuck Yeah! Lincoln starring Daniel Day Lewis as the 16th President Of The United States.
It would probably be easier to name those who aren’t in this movie as the cast consists of Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tommy Lee Jones, James Spader, Jared Harris, John Hawkes, Sally Field and David Strathairn among many others.
The plot for Lincoln rattles along like so:
As the Civil War nears its end, President Abraham Lincoln clashes with members of his cabinet over the issue of abolishing slavery.
I’m going to come right out with it and state that judging from the trailer this looks pretty boring. Sure if you love the craft of acting and get a special kick watching those like Day Lewis inhabit characters then I’m sure this movie will be like an exciting roller-coaster, but for the rest of us it just looks like a whole lot of talky, political shim-sham in poorly furnished rooms, peppered with distant contemplating stares off into yonder with a thoroughly distinct lack of boobies and not a single f**king vampire in sight. Poor show Mr Spielberg, poor show indeed.
