I had absolutely no idea who Britt McHenry was until today. Turns out she’s a reciting word monkey for ESPN and has delusions of grandeur about herself, which she aggressively projected onto some poor parking attendant who just happened to be doing her job.
In the video above McHenry berates the employee taking digs at her personal appearance, weight and job after she had to pay a fine for having her car towed for being double parked, (oh, the humanity!). McHenry seems like a thoroughly unpleasant, classist person from the footage and if her outburst against the employee wasn’t enough she thought it would be great idea to vent her spleen about the one-sided confrontation on Twitter.
Of course as is the case with these vapid co-called celebrities someone must have advised McHenry to delete all trace of her tirade because it might just make her look like an asshole. But screenshots of the tweets had been duly taken so in a complete transparant back-track she issued the following statement in which she fails to directly apologise to the employee she berated:
In an intense and stressful moment, I allowed my emotions to get the best of me and said some insulting and regrettable things. As frustrated as I was, I should always choose to be respectful and take the high road. I am so sorry for my actions and will learn from this mistake.
Yeah, you seem like the real regretful sort.
