It was once dubbed the most absurd and surreal photograph of the 20th Century, a snapshot from 1970 of a meeting which took place in the White House between the 37th President of the United States, Richard Nixon and one of the most iconic singers in history Elvis Presley.
Now that quirky story of exactly how that picture was taken is to be told in a Hollywood rendition of the meeting. Starring Kevin Spacey as Nixon and Michael Shannon as Elvis the film will apparently explore the details behind the meeting, which were a lot stranger than the picture itself.
Elvis & Nixon is set for general release on April 29th.
