This is called the Running Of The Balls, (stop it!), and is as close as you’ll ever get from experiencing that infamous Raiders Of The Lost Ark intro scene.
As much as it looks like a load of fun for the people being chased by the gigantic balls it’s as mush fun for those hitching a ride inside them.
This amazing animated short by artist Paul Johnson pays homage to the late 80s early 90s Japanese anime style TV programmes of that era.
TIE Fighter is a work of passion by Johnson and it shows. It took him four years to painstakingly hand draw the entire short. He explains:
“What if there was an Empire-focused short Star Wars animation, drawn with the crazy detail and shading of classic 80s anime that’s all but vanished from Japan nowadays? Well, I tried my best. Apologies in advance for not living up to Venus Wars standards.”
There is no need to apologise Paul. You nailed it!
I doubt there’s anything in this world funnier than an angry Scotsman losing his shit playing a video game. The video above uploaded by YouTuber Byze features a caddy race across a bridge infested with giant windmills.
Let the rage ensue.
This is pretty exciting news if you’re a fan of the Alien movie franchise as film director Neill Blomkamp, (District 9, Elysium, Chappie), has been given the go-ahead to bring his vision of an Alien movie to the big screen.
The director recently uploaded various pieces of concept art for a secret Alien project he was working on for Fox. Unfortunately the project was cancelled but following the amount of positive attention the art received across the Internet a real desire by fans to see this movie started to emerge. Now it seems Blomkamp has signed a new deal with Fox to bring his own installment of the Alien franchise to the big screen with the director announcing on Instagram the exciting news.
Details are sketchy right now but what is certain is that this Alien sequel will have not attachment to Ridley Scott’s current Prometheus 2 project except that the film’s events will take place directly after. There has also been no confirmation that Sigourney Weaver will reprise her role as Ripley or that Michael Biehn will return as Corporal Dwayne Hicks both of whom were featured in Blomkamp’s concept art for the movie.
No word on a screenwriter or scheduled release date either but its early days and more news will surely follow regarding this sequel soon.

The video above was lovingly made by Paul Robertson, the man behind the Scott Pilgrim video game, and fellow game developer Ivan Dixon which features the full Simpsons introduction but converted to pastel pixel art.
As you can see this fan made video is pretty much the best intro The Simpsons has had yet.
Billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates has not resigned himself to gardening leave since his retirement, instead he’s been looking to invest in some amazing and potentially life changing projects.
One such venture is the Janicki Omniprocessor, the brainchild of creator Peter Janicki, a low-cost waste treatment plant funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, which turns sewage into clean drinking water and electricity.
This exciting new project could have massive implications for world sanitation not to mention a much needed increase in the quality of life for more impoverished countries.
Say what you will about Megatron, yes he’s appeared in a couple of really stinking movies, but when it comes to social commentary and his opinion on the state of human progress he’s second to none.
Just listen as he expertly berates a female fan for wanting to take a ‘selfie’.
