Leaked Deadpool Test Footage – Get It While It’s Hot.

Here’s leaked test footage for the Deadpool movie which will probably be taken down before long, so watch it while you can. It was shot back in 2012 by director Tim Miller, and featured Ryan Reynolds as the ‘merc with a mouth‘. So far the project seems to be languishing in development hell with no word on any progress to begin shooting.

It’s understood that due to the violent nature of the Deadpool comics the movie would be filmed on a low budget to retain it’s R rating. Obviously Hollywood execs don’t think there’s the appetite out here for a Deadpool movie but judging the Internet’s reaction over this test footage they might want to do a bit of rethinking.

First Look At The Simpsons/Family Guy Cross-Over Episode.

Here’s almost five minutes of the much-anticipated Simpsons/Family Guy episode which was shown at this year’s comic-con in San Diego.

Sure its a cross-over and could be viewed as a shameless attempt to promote two properties owned by FOX in one epsiode, but boy does this look like fun.

Star Wars Set Video Unveils X-Wing.

Director J J Abrams is back and once more he’s filmed a video on the set of the forthcoming Star Wars: Ep VII movie.

As some of you may recall he recently announced a contest where you could win a part in the movie and a tour of the set in London, this video is a basic update with an official description which rattles along like so:

In a special video message from the set of Star Wars: Episode VII, director J.J. Abrams announces the creation of Star Wars: Force for Change, a brand new Star Wars initiative from Disney and Lucasfilm, in collaboration with Bad Robot, dedicated to finding creative solutions to some of the world’s biggest problems. The first Star Wars: Force for Change campaign will raise funds and awareness for UNICEF’s Innovation Labs and its innovative projects benefitting children in need.

Yeah enough with the information Abrams, let’s see that bloody X-Wing.

Be A Parkour Assassin @ San Diego Comic Con.

To promote their forthcoming game Assassins Creed: Unity at this year’s Comic Con in San Diego developers Ubisoft have constructed a parkour driven obstacle course for people to use, allowing them to get the real Assassins Creed experience.

As the video shows above you’ll be able to traverse, and run across obstacles using just your raw athleticism to conquer each section of the course. There’s just one hitch, the vast majority of those who will take part will likely be gamers…so, yeah…raw athleticism.

Avast! Trailer For Dr Who Series 8.

In case you missed it here’s the much anticipated trailer for the eighth series of Dr Who, which was broadcast on BBC One last night during the World Cup final.

As expected Twitter went into fanboy meltdown as the world finally got a glimpse of Peter Capaldi as the new Dr. Also a T-Rex outside the Houses Of Parliament, which considering the current sordid climate of scandal, would be a welcome reality.

Rockstar To Give GTA V Online Players $500,000 Of In-Game Money.

actual_1381450954v2

To cut a long, boring and convoluted story short the launch of Rockstar’s online branch of their current Grand Theft Auto game has been a tad problematic for some gamers, proving for many a difficult game to access and save progress on.

As millions of lonely, socially awkward and sun depraved individuals threw a collective hissy fit over the problems with the online game it became increasingly apparent that developers Rockstar needed to put together some sort of compensation reward for the legions of whiney faced gurners.

Following an update which will further sort out remaining problems with the online game, players will now receive a special ‘stimulus package‘, ( in an effort to silence their petulant howls of passive rage) as Rockstar’s official website explains:

  • You must play or have played Grand Theft Auto Online at any time during the month of October 2013 in order to qualify for the GTA$500,000 deposit in your in-game bank account.

  • Players will first have to install a forthcoming GTAV title update which we expect to happen next week. That title update (1.04) is expected to fix the remaining instances of issues that have caused vehicle purchase loss and will also enable the functionality through which we’ll be providing this GTA$ stimulus cash to players.

  • We will announce at the Rockstar Newswire when each deposit is made.

  • Each of the two GTA$250,000 deposits will be made by Rockstar and should automatically appear in the in-game GTA Online bank accounts of eligible players. Beyond downloading the forthcoming title update mentioned above, there should not be any additional special action required by eligible players to redeem.
