“If I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn’t have went down like it did. There would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, ‘OK, we’re going to land somewhere safely, don’t worry”
Yep, that’s what Mark Whalberg told a reporter for Men’s Journal, (or Men’s Health if you live in Europe), recently when asked how he felt at being scheduled to fly on one of the planes that crashed into the World Trade Center, (You can read the entire interview HERE). His answer was simple he’d get all action hero on the terrorists and kick their asses, then he’d probably single-handedly take control of the low flying passenger jet just in time to miss one of the towers, turn that bird around and land it on the lawn of the muthafuckin’ Whitehouse.
He also told the same magazine he cried seven times while watching The Help. He’s an emotional roller-coaster of a man. Of course in true Hollywood style it wasn’t long before a flurry of panicked activity from his agents and PR people forced him to issue this apology:
“To speculate about such a situation is ridiculous to begin with, and to suggest I would have done anything differently than the passengers on that plane was irresponsible. I deeply apologize to the families of the victims that my answer came off as insensitive, it was certainly not my intention.” (source)
Actually Mark we think your reaction on-board a hijacked plane would be more like this:
Sounds ridiculous doesn’t it? Smacks of one of those crazy tin foil hat wearing conspiracy theories conjured up in somebody’s basement. But what if this claim, this allegation didn’t come from a jobless 35 year-old Internet geek who still lives with his mother, what if this came from Richard A. Clarke the Counter Terrorism Chief who served under Bill Clinton and George W Bush, a man who for 30 years worked as a U.S government employee? Would you believe it then?
In a nutshell Clarke alleges that the CIA tried to make contact with two Al Qaeda operatives who had successfully managed to set themselves up in America, (post 9/11), in an effort to recruit them and have them work as double agents. They needed to do this because they had no-one working for them inside Al Qaeda. Of course the plan went tits up, but instead of alerting the White House the CIA covered up their mistake and kept quiet about the whole affair before, during and after the 9/11 attacks.

The above 17 minute long video of 9/11 footage was taken by a New York police helicopter crew and was recently obtained by website cryptome.org through a FOIA, (Freedom Of Information Act), request to NIST, (National Institute of Science and Technology).
The video isn’t the best quality but it’s impact certainly isn’t lessened. On their YouTube page Cryptome mention that: “NIST investigated the WTC tower collapses and collected large amounts of evidence from officials and individuals. While much of this evidence has been released to the public, more is still withheld.”
We’ll probably need to wait another ten years to see the rest of the evidence.
