Small piece of trivia for you, did you know that last month Adam Sandler received 11 award nominations for his contribution to film last year? Of course the awards in question are The Razzies which are handed out annually to actors and actresses who have turned in the worst performances or films over the last twelve months and judging by the trailer above, for Sandler’s next movie, it looks like he may be onto yet another winning streak for 2013.

Co-directed by Sean Anders & John Morris, both were behind Sex Drive, (off to a flyer now), it stars Adam Sandler who, as a teenager, fathered a son (Andy Samberg) in high school with his teacher. Years later, the man visits his son on the eve of his son’s wedding and begins feuding with his son’s bride (Leighton Meester). That’s it, that’s the entire film’s plot right there. A single episode of the Jeremy Kyle Show has more twists and turns than this whole movie.

By the way in real life Adam Sandler is 45 years-old and Andy Samberg is 33 years-old which means, theoretically speaking, Sandler would have fathered Samberg at the tender age of 12. We’re logic Nazis, we can’t help it.
