The Merkin’s Cover Seven Nation Army As GOT Parody.

There’s only a handful of Game Of Thrones episodes left and as the tension mounts and fans get nervous over the fate of their favourite characters, the comedy band The Merkins have released a fantastic GOT themed parody of Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes.

Entitled Seven Kingdom Army it has band members dressed as White Walkers belting out a tune which I will probably constantly think about when we finally watch The Knight King and his un-dead horde descend upon Winterfell.

GOT’s The Mountain Became The Strongest Man In Europe.

If you’re a fan of Game Of Thrones then you’ll know that the character The Mountain is played by Hafþór Júlíus “Thor” Björnsson who hails from Iceland and who also happens to be the strongest man in Europe.

Earlier this year he lifted the title in style in Leeds, UK, (after all it’s what the man lives and trains for), his Game Of Thrones gig is a little side job. He celebrated winning the Atlas stone event by ripping his t-shirt from his torso like it was a sheet of kitchen roll, before declaring:

“I am the future of strength, as I am the King of stones.”

And who in their right mind would argue with that?
