Indiana Jones on rails.
Lush graphics and exciting set pieces make up for a pretty poor combat mechanic, (don’t get us started on the shooting aspect of this game). Solid plot and voice characterisations make for a heavy weight title you’ll thoroughly enjoy, even if it is a bit on the short side. This must be the first game to feature a boat graveyard.
We can’t stand lengthy reviews so we’ll keep this breezy and brief. Simply put buy or rent this amazing game from Rockstar if you have even a passing interest in the crime noir genre.
It’s open world format doesn’t exactly achieve the heady heights of previous sandbox titles such as Grand Theft Auto but this is a different kind of gaming experience, one which involves a little more brain power, a little more attention rather than just a furious mashing of buttons and the senseless slaying of innocent pedestrians with your car.
This is very much an adult game with adult themes throughout and the main storyline does get a tad dark for a video game, (with the inclusion of anal rape and child molestation), but hey that’s what detectives have to deal with and if you want to solve the crime you need to know every sordid detail.
Without ruining anything LA Noire has to offer just trust us when we say you are unlikely to play a game like this again…unless of course Rockstar make sequel.
NB. Still not convinced? Just look at the realistic pants inertia the game has to offer below.
Check out the realism in those scants!
