E3 2012. Trailer For Nintendo Wii U’s ZombiU.

Far be it from me to point out the obvious when it comes to exhausted genres but the living dead as a plot mechanic in games and films has pretty much run it’s course. Or has it?

The trailer above for ZombiU which is a game exculsively for the Nintendo Wii U ingeniously adds an extra dimension to the first person zombie shooter as it incorporates the Wii U’s special gamepad, with embedded touchscreen, as a supplementary device when playing, so that the game is played on both the TV and controller screen, ramping up the tension, excitement and panic throughout.

Paul Rudd Played Nintendo In A Trenchcoat.

Actor Paul Rudd, (he of Knocked Up, Anchorman and I Love You Man fame), owned a trenchcoat back in the early nineties and liked nothing better than toear w it while grappling with the raw, savage power of Super Nintendo…outside in a damp, abandoned drive-in, with a crowd watching. Didn’t we all back then?  (via Topless Robot)
