Help To Save An Eight-Year-Old Girl’s Life.

One of our loyal reader’s recently contacted us regarding a heart breaking story involving an eight-year-old girl and her ongoing fight against leukaemia.

Aillidh Kinnaird, from Sandbank in Argyll, desperately needs a bone marrow donor to help save her life after she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, which affects only 20% of all those diagnosed with childhood leukaemia. According to the Facebook Page set up to assist in the donor appeal, Aillidh has been in hospital in Glasgow since before Christmas and is currently receiving chemotherapy.

How can you help? Well she needs a stem cell/bone marrow transplant and by undergoing a simple blood test you can find out if you’re an eligible donor and in the unique position to save an eight-year-old girl’s life. Putting your dreams of worldwide fame and fortune to one side here’s an opportunity for you to personally save a child’s life. Usually the only people to lay claim to something that special wear a cape and their underpants outside of their clothing.
