Here’s the first official look at the HBO film Behind The Candelabra, starring Michael Douglas and Matt Damon.

It’s no great secret that director Steven Soderbergh couldn’t get this flick financed from the movie studios because they deemed the plot ‘too gay’ for Hollywood. The film centres around the true story of pianist Liberace and his manipulative six year relationship with his much younger lover Scott Thorsen. Liberace apparently  employed a top plastic surgeon to ‘re-design’ Thorsen’s face to look more like a younger version of himself, following which he endeavoured to adopt Scott as his son.
