Who would have imagined that playing as a man-eating shark, devouring literally everything in its path, was the Coronovirus lockdown therapy you needed.

Here’s over an hour of gameplay of the action role-playing game developed by Tripwire Interactive and currently available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.  It’s a story of pure revenge as you control a young female bull shark who must grow and survive in the dangerous waters of the Bayou so that one day she can take revenge on the ruthless fisherman who killed her mother.

The game also has factual narration interjections from none other than Morty’s dad, (from Rik & Morty), Chris Parnell.

 

 

The ‘Succulent Chinese Meal’ Guy Is Still Alive.

There are many great and epic public meltdown videos on the internet, but one which stands head and shoulders above the rest was filmed in Australia in the 80s. It’s of the arrest of Paul Charles Dozsa who had tried to dodge paying for a meal at a Chinese restaurant.

The video is famous largely due to Dozsa’s booming voice and relative calmness at being manhandled by cops. As they try to bundle him into their patrol car Dozsa shouts: ‘What is the charge? Eating a meal? A succulent Chinese meal?’

The video has been bouncing around the internet for the better part of two decades and it was largely assumed that Dozsa was no longer alive, but thanks to SportsBet Australia, who tracked the man down, we can all rejoice in the fact that the famous ‘succulent Chinese meal’ guy is alive and well and living in Brisbane.

Every time Danny Macaskill uploads a new video of him bending the laws of physics on a bike we end up watching it multiple times.

His latest short film is no exception which sees Danny try out the new Santa Cruz Ebike by testing it to its limits on the Scottish islands of Inchkeith and Skye, where he grew up.

It seems every time something seems a little too dangerous Danny gets excited and runs headlong into it, screaming with joy. Never change Danny, never change.

Online Debate Rages Over Authenticity Of Wuhan Wailing Video.

There’s a ton of fake and doctored videos online about the current state of affairs in Wuhan and China, concerning the recent troubling outbreak of the coronavirus.

A lot of twisted and sick people have been deliberately creating content depicting disturbing and frightening scenarios that claim to have been filmed in China, which have turned out to be completely bogus. It is the Internet after all and trolling is to be expected, but one video doing the rounds currently has yet to be confirmed as fake.

Posted on YouTube two days ago it shows footage of part of Wuhan’s district at night, the person filming is narrating and subtitles have been added. As he films from his flat window, over the neighbourhood, wailing, shouting and screaming can be heard. The explanation for the sounds is that those residents who have been quarantined in their own homes, are losing their minds and can’t take it anymore.

It’s been a full 48 hours since this video was uploaded and yet nobody throughout various online forums can confirm that it’s fake. What is interesting is that a similar video cropped up in January which seems to corroborate that the night wailing has been going on for some time. You can clearly hear similar sounds at the beginning of the video, before the man filming breaks into song, trying to boost morale by singing the national anthem. Some residents duly respond.

If this video is genuine then it’s truly terrifying, obviously not just for viewers but for those poor Wuhan residents locked up in their own homes.

Trailer For New Mothman Documentary Will Give You Chills.

We’re somewhat obsessed with the supernatural phenomena known as The Mothman. Ever since we watched the 2001 cult classic The Mothman Prophecies, starring Richard Gere, our interest in the illusive winged man of West Virginia has been constant.

Thankfully we now have even more detail to pour over with the imminent release of the documentary The Mothman Legacy: West Virginia Hills a direct sequel to the excellent 2017 documentary The Mothman Of Point Pleasant.

The documentary charts the increase in Mothman sightings around the West Virginia Hills, interviewing locals who recount their experiences and provide a wealth of new information expanding on the creature’s mythology.
