What Time Is It? It’s Burger Time!

Do you remember this arcade classic from the late 80s where you played as chef Peter Pepper in a delicious little platform game called Burger Time?

If you do then look out your gaming napkin as the title is back and it’s been redeveloped into what looks like a glorious 3D experience for the Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and PS3. The original title had you scrambling up and down ladders and platforms avoiding hot dogs, pickles and eggs along the way:

When Peter Pepper walks the length of an ingredient (bun, meat patty, tomato, etc.), it falls one level. If it lands atop another ingredient, the latter in turn falls one level. A burger is completed when all vertically aligned ingredients have been dropped out of the maze and onto a waiting plate. Once all burgers are completed, the level is finished.’

The new and much improved Burger Time HD, which will be released in the summer, remains faithful to the original premise but puts a much needed 3D spin on the game. Apparently players will be able to play as The King from Burger King in a special DLC add-on feature, as seen below.

Avast! Zip-lines In New Call Of Duty DLC.

It’s that time again when gaming companies start to turn the vice and squeeze as much money out of your wallet as possible. The first downloadable map pack for last year’s highly successful first person shooter Call Of Duty: Black Ops is gearing up for release on February 1st. It will probably mark the first of three pieces of downloadable content for the game and just like before they’ve included some tempting new qualities which they hope will hook you into buying.
