It’s pretty much official that Brad Pitt’s World War Z is absolutely nothing like the Max Brook’s book it’s supposed to be based upon.

Here it is the first full trailer for Brad Pitt’s World War Z. The first part of this trailer features Glasgow and a quick glimpse of George Square. It appears to be far more action orientated than the original Max Brooks book and we know this because it has a  Hollywood klaxon blaring throughout.

Here’s the teaser trailer for the much anticipated movie I am Legend Too World War Z, starring Brad Pitt and waves and waves of CGI zombies.
I was lucky enough to act as an extra on this movie when the cast and crew rolled into Glasgow town to shoot some scenes. It was the usual big, blockbuster Hollywood, spare no expense, effort and for me at least a once in a lifetime experience. Which makes me feel a little disappointed by what the teaser trailer has to offer especially as it bares no resemblance to the book.
However, I shall reserve judgement for the time being…or until Thursday when I watch the full official trailer.
Sneaky Footage From The WWZ Set In Glasgow.
A friend of ours was lucky enough to bag himself a gig as an extra on the set of Brad Pitt’s new film World War Z, based on the best selling book by Max Brooks, while it was being shot in Glasgow.
He explained that a large Hollywood production with hundreds of extras, stuntmen, helicopters and zombies made for a very entertaining couple of days on set. But before he started work he had to sign a confidentiality agreement stating that he wouldn’t talk about the film online or take footage or pictures while on set and although he duly observed this rule to the letter it didn’t stop those people who worked in overlooking offices and apartments to capture the shoot on video as demonstrated above.
He also advised us to ignore all the fanboy chatter over the alleged plot changes from the book, he assured us that from the scenes he took part in and watched this movie will definitely be worth the wait.
