Jackass 4 Trailer Is Full Of Chaos.

In October this year audiences will get to watch a group of quadragenarians knock themselves unconscious, fire themselves out of cannons and lose their teeth as the Jackass crew re-assemble one last time for Jackass Forever.

As demonstrated in the trailer below it looks like more of the same from the original Knoxville gang with the exception of Ryan Dunn who was tragically killed in 2011, Bam Margera who was fired from the production earlier this year and comedian Rip Taylor who died in 2019.

The biggest question on everyone’s lips right now is what exactly is Johnny Knoxville made of. Kevlar?

Jackass Forever is released on October 22nd.

Marvel Release Trailer For Their Animated Disney+ Series – What If.

What if major moments in the Marvel cinematic universe happened differently? That’s the core question which propels Marvel’s animated series What If, due to appear on Disney+ on August 11th.

The trailer below gives you a taste of what to expect and judging from the stunning animation and voice work from the established stars of Marvel’s cinematic universe fans are in for a treat.

Actor Jeffrey Wright voices the character The Watcher, who observes the multiverse and occasionally intervenes with events therein and who guides the viewer from one episode of multiverse mayhem to the next.

Sam Mendes’ War Movie 1917 Looks Incredible.

Here’s the latest trailer for the one continuous shot World War I movie 1917.

Director Sam Mendes, (Skyfall, American Beauty), apparently used a series of extra long takes to give the viewer the impression the movie is one continuous shot. The plot of 1917 rattles along like so:

At the height of the First World War, two young British soldiers, Schofield (Captain Fantastic’s George MacKay) and Blake (Game of Thrones’ Dean-Charles Chapman) are given a seemingly impossible mission. In a race against time, they must cross enemy territory and deliver a message that will stop a deadly attack on hundreds of soldiers—Blake’s own brother among them.

1917 is scheduled for release on January 10, 2020.

Trailer For Eco Documentary Anthropocene Is Incredible

As middle-aged white men with high blood pressure and cholesterol berate, imitate and ridicule a 16 year-old girl, whose only crime is to care about the welfare of the planet we all live on, scientific research is suggesting we all need to act fast if we have any hope of providing a future for our grand- kids.

If you’re still in some doubt about the validity of the climate change claims then gander awhile at this spectacular yet grim looking trailer for the new eco-documentary Anthropocene – The Human Epoch. It’s the third instalment of a trilogy of films which looks at the impact of humanity on natural development.

If anything, thanks to it’s wide sweeping, glorious shots, it gives the audience a sense of scale of the industrial impact the human race is inflicting on it’s habitat.

Uncut Gems Trailer – Adam Sandler Is A Dodgy Jewellery Dealer.

I have an appreciation for Adam Sandler. Not so much an appreciation of his many asinine comedies, (although his recent Netflix stand-up special was excellent), but an appreciation for an actor who can seamlessly switch from hilarious Happy Gilmore to pious Punch Drunk Love.

His latest venture looks extremely promising as he plays a dodgy, jeweller to the rich and famous who has to find a way to pay his debts when his merchandise is taken from one of his top sellers and girlfriend. Early word suggests Sandler’s performance could net him an award with rave reviews at various film festivals.

Uncut Gems is written and directed by the Safdie Brothers whose previous venture Good Time, which starred Robert Pattinson, was an excellent, dark crime noir story and one of the best films of 2017.

Uncut Gems is scheduled for release on December 13th.

Mary Poppins Returns Trailer Features Dick Van Dyke

Here’s the first official look at Disney’s forthcoming Mary Poppins sequel, featuring Emily Blunt, Ben Wishaw, Emily Mortimer and a 92 year-old Dick Van Dyke dancing on a table.

Mary Poppins Returns is directed by Rob Marshall, (Chicago, Into The Woods), and is a direct sequel to the 1964 original with Blunt taking over the title role from Julie Andrews. The main plot of the movie rattles along like so:

Set in 1935 London, Jane  and Michael Banks are now grown-up, with Michael still living in the house on Cherry Tree Lane. He lives there with his three children, Annabel, John and Georgie and their housekeeper, Ellen. After Michael’s wife’s death, Mary Poppins comes back to the Banks family with street lamplighter Jack (Lin-Manuel Miranda), and eccentric cousin Topsy (Meryl Streep)

The story, which picks up 20 years later, is based upon the Mary Poppins books and as the trailer demonstrates is full of nostalgia, specifically with the return of Dick Van Dyke who plays the son of Mr Dawes Snr, the old bank owner, a character played by Dyke in the original movie. Marshall has kept true to the elements which made Poppins such a classic, opting to use hand drawn animated sequences rather than CGI.

Mary Poppins Returns is scheduled for release on 19th December.

Final Predator Trailer Has Predator Dogs

Here’s the very last official trailer for Shane Black’s The Predator which is set for release on September 7th.

This will be the fourth installment of the Predator franchise, (unofficially it’s the sixth, but we’re going to skip past those two horrendous Alien Vs Predator movies).

It’s hoped that if The Predator is successful it will become the first of a trilogy of movies directed by Shane Black

The plot of The Predator rattles along like so:

A young boy (Jacob Tremblay) accidentally triggers an alert that brings the Predators back to Earth. The universe’s most lethal hunters have genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other alien species, and it’s up to a team of ex-soldiers and a science teacher to stop them.

Battlefield V Trailer Pushed Bro Gamers Over The Edge.

Last night, live on YouTube the new Battlefield game trailer was revealed and like everything nowadays there soon followed much foaming at the mouth and spitting of rage.

A certain section of gamers and fans of the series went apocalyptic over the use of a female character in the trailer, raging at the developers for being ‘historically inaccurate’ with the new content, because it featured a woman.

It didn’t matter that tanks careered through buildings, trucks were dropping out of the sky, planes were crashing all around whilst soldiers, complete with facepaint, biker jackets, mohawk hair and metal prosthetic hands were jumping through top floor windows unscathed. No, these excessive, disproportionate details were fine, it was the inclusion of a female character which shat all over every aspect of the ‘historical accuracy’ this game was selling.

It’s a fucking video game with over-the-top action which is engineered to excite and entertain the player and the only true way this can be achieved is when reality is detached. Unsurpisingly the trailer took a beating on social media with bro-gamers using the hashtags #genderfield and #notmybattlefield.

Fans, who weren’t gagging on their toxic masculinity, were delighted to learn that the new Battlefield game won’t have a pay to win system or premium pass, meaning loot boxes won’t feature and once you buy the game any additional content will be free. Personally we can’t wait to see more.

Battlefield V is scheduled for release on Ocotber 19th.

Trailer for Biggie Smalls Murder Movie City Of Lies.

Here’s the first official trailer for Johnny Depp’s new movie City Of Lies, co-starring Forest Whitaker and directed by Brad Furman, (The Lincoln Lawyer).

The movie is based on the Pulitzer nominated novel LAbyrinth by Randall Sullivan which examined the details surrounding the murders of rappers Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G and the possible involvement of the Los Angeles police department in their deaths.

The trailer, like most these days, gives away a large portion of the plot which rattles along like so:

Former LAPD detective, Russell Poole joins forces with journalist Jack Jackson nearly two decades after the murders of rappers Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. to find out the truth.

Many documentaries have been made theorising what happened and who was ultimately responsible for the deaths of these two young artists, but City Of Lies apparently only deals with the the case work of Poole. A man who unearthed a load of details and information about an alleged conspiracy involving the LAPD.

City Of Lies is scheduled for release on September 7th.
